Empty Promises and Very Rude Call Centre Agent

I received my Greenbacks Shopcard on Saturday. I did a balance enquiry when I walked out of the bank...the balance reflected as R 500.00 available. Wonderful! What a pleasant surprise because I had to pay R 1500 excess on my car this month and i am broke and need to refuel!!! I left and went to Planet nails to make a small purchase...Card not accepted. No problem...I went to an atm to withdraw the cash instead. FNB ATM tells me incorrect pin...hmmm,,,okay - maybe I can only withdraw funds with this card at a Nedbank ATM. No biggie - it was not a necessity after all. There is an atm next to my office. Yesterday (Monday)I go to draw money - insufficient funds!!! Balance enquiry - R 10.00!!!! ***!!! Check online...367 GB - from 18200!!!!!! Phone call centre, lady logs a fault ( ********** ) for me as Nedbank's system reflects 18200 GB on my account...I receive no feedback by 3pm. I phone again. The ***** that answers tells me that I never went to the atm on Monday morning to withdraw, and i could not have done a balance enquiry on Saturday because the card was not yet active. The more I tell her she is not listening to me because I am telling her exactly what I did where and when with the card the louder she talks trying to tell me what I did and did not do!!! Her salary is a waste of my bank charges!!!!! I put the phone down and make another call immediately. The lady is much friendlier and tells me that this is a technical error (same as what I was told earlier) but it should be sorted by this morning (Tuesday). I must wait and try again today. So I do...and lo and behold....my balance at the atm is still R 10.00. When i phoned again at 7:30 am I am told that there has been no feedback from the GB department on my Reference number.

I just phoned again 8am - and spoke to a helpful lady named Sibongile. As per her team leader, the greenbacks department take 2 working days to respond to queries....so i am pretty much *****ed now.

So please could someone from Nedbank fetch me from my house in Pretoria tomorrow morning and bring me to work in Bryanston. I leave at 05:30. At 17:30 please collect me and take me back home. I need this tomorrow and Thursday and Friday please BECAUSE I CAN NOT WITHDRAW FUNDS TO PUT FUEL IN MY CAR!!!!!!!

Once I get paid I will put fuel in my car and rush over to the nearest Nedbank branch to close my accounts and start the process to switch my bond to SAHL. I dont need this aggravation

On Wednesday at 4pm Ipeleng phoned me to tell me that the problem had been rresolved. For that I am grateful, as companies do not really give feedback anymore. Bianca dealing with my query came across as a bit abrasive - but maybe that was just my perception because of how agitated I was from this whole situation. My problem is that even though the problem was resolved nobody could tell me what the problem actually was. On Wednesday Bianca advised me that this now relates to a saswitch claim that involves another bank and could take a minimum of 10 days? Later that day Ipeleng had my problem resoled for me....sigh...Anyway - all is well that ends well. Thank you to Ipeleng for actually listening to what I was saying, being patient with my frustration, and actually getting back to me as she had promised to. You are a real asset and very good at dealing with irate clients. You are the reason for the star rating changing. You are a 5 in my books - but I am unable to give that rating based on the entire way this has been handled by Nedbank as a whole
