EMERGENCY NO - DEBIT CARD SWALLOWED AT ATM
On Tuesday 23rd Feb at 13h30 I attempted to draw money at a Wilrow Park atm. The machine swallowed my card. I immediately phoned the emergency no on the screen. Waited unreasonable time for phone to be answered. Then waited even longer to speak to consultant while a Nedbank advertisment was playing. The first consultant wanted a code from me which I did not understand and when I became agitated put down the phone in my ear. Two more futile attempts to report my swallowed card followed. Total incompetence when a client is in an emergency situation. A Nedbank employee waiting to draw money too believed the machine was fitted with a cloning device. Nedebank Westgate eventually sorted out the problem. The emergency no counts for a round ZERO.
