EFT from Nedbank to ABSA still takes ages to clear!

A client of mine paid me on the morning of the 25th of December, I bank with ABSA. My client didn't opt for the immediate/instant payment option, however I am still waiting for the funds. It is unfathomable that in this day and age funds still takes more than 2 business days to clear!!!
