Dreadful treatment of an 87 year old client
I was shocked, helping my 87 year old father pay his TV License, he Holy Spirit been with nedbank since he was at school and now they treat him like this.
He paid his TV License on the Nedbank app, the app came up with an error saying that the transaction might not of gone through, we must check to see if it did or did not.
I helped him do that, nothing showed up so he made the payment again as the error message had told him to do.
A while later he gets a double proof of payment. Turns out both transactions went through.
Last night the bank app chat agent said that nothing showed up at all so I must initiate a chat today for my dad. I did so, today’s agent after consulting with management say that the issue happened in the app so he must pay R395 to fix a R140.60 problem?
That is how NEDBANK treats a 87 year old man having been loyal for almost 70 years when it is their issue.
They say it would be better to contact the SABC to fix Nedbank’s error.
I am absolutely shocked at how Nedbank can display this attitude towards a client of any age or number of years banking at the institution
