Dreadful Bank

A dreadful experience at a dreadful bank. I went to cash a third party Nedbank cheque at Nedbank, Westville. First the teller wanted my ID. No problem. I gave her my driver's license. Then my telephone number. No problem. I gave it to her. Then she asked if I worked. Surprised, I said it's none of her business what I do with my time, but I gave her the work name anyway. Then she wanted my fingerprints!!!! I said absolutely not. After much time involved I eventually got told the drawer of the cheque could not be contacted so they could not cash the cheque.

What absolute nonsense. I phoned my lawyer who confirmed my thoughts. It's an ******* position that Nedbank have adopted.

Toxic bank.

Thank you. A quick response. That's something! I await a call from Nedbank to discuss a way forward.
