Don't ask your banker, you must do it yourself
Hi all, because I'm not getting help, I'm writing this with only knowledge of the research I could do on my own. I'm a freelancer and get paid by many different individuals or companies but lately, I've been getting e-mails that look very legit from ABSA, Nedbank, DHL, and even Ampath regarding payments/deductions affecting my account. I contacted my "personal banker", 3 weeks later still waiting for a reply, tried to contact the Nedbank ***** department, couldn't get through, e-mail a question, no answer, then I forwarded one of the e-mails to them and it bounced back as "Email rejected due to security policies". I then sent it to "***, only got back an automated response. Thus it all comes down to 2 things, 1) or Nedbank ***** seems not to be able to give feedback or help or 2) they are so overwhelmed with ********** attacks on customers accounts that it can't get to everybody, and thus the onus is on the customer to read up and then to decide, should I open it or not. Currently, like on my cellphone, if I don't know the number, I'm deleting it, won't even answer it. Have a lot fewer friends, but my money is still in my account.
Awesome!!
