Disgruntled customer

So yesterday Wednesday 31/08/2016 at or around about 14:52 I went to the Nedbank branch at the life style Mall in Centurion. While depositing an amount of R2400.00 from the outside ATM right next to the Nedbank branch. The machine decided to cancel my transactions, return R200 and proceed to reboot. As the reasonable person that I am I waited patiently for the machine to start up and return my money (R2200.00) however it failed to do so. A young gentleman who works at the bank comes over after I call to him and he was able to request assistance from inside. While I was still standing and waiting in front of the machine, I was asked to go inside the bank by the Nedbank employee where I received little to no help what so ever.

Disgusted to say that I was informed by the employees that the machine that I used is problematic and that just last Saturday another customer encountered similar problems. Ooh and needless to say that the managers of the branch are aware of this fact.

So I would believe that it is common sense for a bank to ensure that their machines are up to standard to ensure that they render the good serves that they promise, properly and sufficiently.

However when I encounter problems due to their negligence, failure to follow up on procedure and to ensure that their equipment is up to date and standard I am told to wait for 7 days. So I guess that they know the steps to take to look after the banks interests and needs but fail to look after the client’s needs.

So Leon Govender and Ahmed Essack kindly, handle my matter as a case of emergency, contact me soon and don’t put me in a position of having to waste my time, as you have already done that, by forcing me to report you to the ombudsman and bring in Attorneys because believe me I will.

So Nedbank. Kindly “Make things happen”.

Kind regards

Dr Xoliswa Madikizela
