disappointed in the ***** department

i am absolutely shocked!!!! how can a bank like Nedbank let their customers down like this....

my aunt has been banking with Nedbank for as long as i can remember and never once has she had any issues until now...

in the beginning of December 2016 someone attempted to do a sim swop on her Vodacom number, she then got that stopped. they then managed to do a port to mtn that night without her consent. her phone number was deactivated and these ********* then had access to her number. she went and made an affidavit and was fighting to get this sorted out as she dint have a phone for a few days.

she was then harassed as a result of these idiots posting her cell number on an adult website under the name Charlene. after eventually getting it sorted and still being harassed by these sick people she got a new number. with a new number came different issues.

in January 2017 she discovered that a huge amount had been taken out of her account (over the days that her cellphone wasn't working) she then called the ***** department as she did not authorize these payments. they were all done in one night and it was just after her sim got ported.

she uses internet banking once a month to do a single transfer! not 1 person from Nedbank bothered to call her. she didn't get any SMSes or calls or emails from Nedbank.

Nedbank now wants to hold her liable for the more than R50 000 that was taken out of her credit card without her consent or knowing!!!!

you expect loyalty from your customers but you cant offer them one ounce of respect or understanding. this is absolute bull**** on your part and we will take this matter further! she has not only been victimized by these **********, the cellphone companies but now also by the bank she has banked with for many years!

Well done Nedbank!
