Disappointed in nedbank

So I opened up a 32 day notice account and due to unforseen circumstances I had to request the money and couldn't wait for 32days but they charged me R370 penalty fee, how can you charge a penalty fee so much I'm very disappointed with nedbank and really considering switching banks
