Disappointed in Nedbank!

If only I could've gave your customer helpline 0 stars then I would've Where do I start First I would like to say, get your consultants proper training when they are dealing with your customer's finance. Secondly please and I beg you please, get them proper speech therapy because you can't even make out who you're speaking to when the person introduce him/herself

In February, I requested a settlement amount which I wanted to settle my loan with Nedbank. They gave me a settlement amount and through African Bank, my loan was settled. That was on the 15th February 2019. Last month on the 25th March 2019 a debit went off for that specific loan which I've already settled in February. I phoned Nedbank's customer helpline on ********** 111,which you have to wait al most 5minutes before you get through to an consultant to help you. I told the consultant what happened (mind I still don't know who she is because after requesting 3 times her name, I still couldn't hear it and a person have to just move on seeing that your airtime is running out) She told me that the loan is still open and the last consultant that dealt with it, never closed it. For al most 2 weeks I spoke to different consultants (about 5 or 6 as I lost count) regarding how can they debit me for something I've already settled in mid February, yet they didn't debit me on payday in February when the debit usually went off for the installment of the loan I've had. On the 3rd April I spoke to a consultant and he told me that there's a request of closure on the loan and and a request for reversal of the debit and it will take 24hours still before the money reflects into my account again. This morning I checked my account through the Nedbank money app, still nothing. So I phoned again, waiting al most 6 minutes before I got put through to an consultant. The female on the other side of the phone introduced her as Gogo. She explained to me that the money reflected only on the 22nd February and there was still interest that came with seeing that the money only reflected a week later. She also told me that there wasn't a request put in for a reversal of debit, only a closure of loan. That's why the debited me only in March and not February. Now my question/s is: Shouldn't the consultant, when I requested a settlement amount, included the interest that would be added when she gave me the amount? Shouldn't all 5-6 consultants explained that to me when I first phoned that was the case? Instead they **** to me regarding to what's happening. It seems like the people you trust to access our personal information is *********** as they don't know how to deal with customer queries I'm highly disappointed in Nedbank as I've been a loyal client of the bank for over 10 years. I will honestly close my account soon with Nedbank as I can't deal with people who think a person's finance is a joke Hope you give your consultants better training and speech therapy!!!
