Disappointed

I app**** for a consolidation loan 18/02/2020 at the Trade Route branch which were declined. However on the 19th, I received an sms and subsequent email confirming that loan offer is pending and I've got 5 days to accept. Upon enquiring I was advised that it was a system error. I'm confused - how does your system decline an application and send out communication one day later that application approved and offer waiting to be accepted?
