DISABLED MISTREATED

I visited my local Nedbank branch at Cape Gate shopping Centre in Brackenfell on 18 December 2016 after there was a mistake with my Power of Attorney on my husbands account. They refused to order a replacement card for me after mine was damaged. The lady at the customer services counter was rude-sarcastic towards me which I chose to ignore. (this was 15 Decemer 2016). On 18 December 2016 I qeued at the glas door because I had my cerebral palsied son in his wheelchair with me. My husband accompanied us this time. The security lady outside the door came to tell me that they cannot open the glass door for me to enter with the wheelchair because it was an emergency exit only. I was forced to enter into the cubicle doors with the chair. We struggled to get in and felt humiliated trying to juggle the doors and the wheelchair. This is unacceptable. The bank needs to make it easier for wheelchair access, those cubicle doors are small, uncomfortable and not practical for wheelchair use. Unproffesional sarcastic comments from staff are also unacceptable. It is not their place to tell me to look after my card. Accidents happen. I am disappointed with the service. It is truly unacceptable. Please do something!
