Didn't accept study loan request but now they send me letters for personal loans 4 years later?

4 years ago I went through the process of trying to get a study loan as I could not afford my degree. I went first to Nedbank as I have my other account through them and my word, I gave them all the files/forms the required and they kept rejecting and sending it back as "this form is incomplete", "we need a signed doc from the principle", "the amount is too much", and so on.

I eventually gave up with them and went to ABSA. I got my study loan money in 1 week. Like what? After trying like a month with Nedbank and ABSA does it in 1 week.

The irony comes in when I get a mail in the post saying "Miss you are eligible for a personal loan up to R250 000". Oh so now that I'm earning a decent salary after ABSA helped me get there you're interested in giving me a personal loan? Keep your money, I don't want you 'help'!
