De*****ed but Nedbank says not our problem

An amount of R23953.79 was taken off my account from an unknown to me STAYFORLONG.COM ONLINE HOStayf, I immediately notified Nedbank that this is a *****ulent transaction as I have never dealt with this company before and did not authorise this transaction. After 9 weeks at Nedbank ***** department, I am notified that the transaction was accepted by me - you either press 1 for accept or 9 for not accept at 20h00 at night. The more I tell Nedbank I have never dealt with this company before and did not authorise this transaction the more they say to me SORRY not our problem,

Then I reported the case to customer complaints at Nedbank as I was not satisfied that the amount of R24k was de*****ed from my account - speaking to Ms. F. Govender, Cody Francis and eventually Ms Reddy - after 9 weeks of struggling with Nedbank to investigate and then rejected the matter I am hardly able to log a refund with the overseas company that I apparently authorised to put the money through my account - yet the problem remains that I did not authorise this as a legitimate transaction as I have never and will never deal with this company. The company which is an overseas company wants more information which I can't give them because I never knowingly authorised this transaction.

Nedbank offered to give me a goodwill amount of a 1/3 of a transaction I did not authorise

I have been a customer of Nedbank over 20 years, have had a car and a house bond, have various accounts at the moment which one is a business account.

What is extremely sad to me is that Nedbank will lose a customer of so many years after I told them it was a *****ulent transaction.

I have eventually gone to the ombudsmen of banks and will also go to various websites to tell my story as I feel Nedbank can't be trusted. I bank with Nedbank, and my money should be safe!!! and they should take responsibility for a debit passed on my account without my proper authorisations.
