******** Deductions and worst Service
On 1 Jan 2025 my account was debited with R1118.25 without permission of anyone from Nedbank or Blake and Associates who contacted me for debt that is 23 years old. After several calls and emails to both Nedbank and Blake and associates, I'm still awaiting my refund. This after receiving an email from a consultant from the legal collections department Cebolekosi Buthelezi on 14/01/25 stating that I should contact Blake and associates to do the refund. The debt forms part of our sequestration that was done in 2003 and Nedbank was well informed by the attorneys who handled the case. Till today I've been given the runaround and the one is referring me to the other as Nedbank Legal decided that when I opened an account with Nedbank they would just debit the account without any communication or contact. Blake and Associates did not even have my correct contact details and did not have my banking details. It is 27 days later and I still did not get any assistance and still no refund from either party. This is ******** and it was confirmed with my Attorney Johan Van Heerden that you are not allowed to deduct the money after the debt was part of an insolvent estate and obtain a judgment after the debt has been prescribed. To call your call center clients have to hold on for an average of 45 minutes every time. Blake and Associates are stating they're awaiting feedback from Nedbank. As a widow, I need the money for my medical expenses and had to go without my medication this month. The worst decision ever is to open an account with Nedbank.
