December early debit order without my permission.
Well, Nedbank Home Loans decided to put through an early debit order for December WITHOUT my permission, leaving me with no money for our holiday or Christmas. I still needed to pay my COJ account, and that money is all gone now until I get paid again at the end of the month. My private banker is the worst person to try and get hold of, and is also on holiday until early January. The person standing in for her is also on leave and so is the person that is standing in for him. The consultant that tried to assist me told me that Nedbank apparently sent me an sms to ask me if I want to opt in for the early debit order. I never received such an sms and he then told me if you don't reply to the sms, they assume it's a yes for the early debit order. It will take 2 weeks to refund the money, but until then, I'm left with no money, so I might as well wait for my December salary. Same thing. How on earth is this acceptable! How many people are now having to cancel holiday and Christmas plans due to this.
