Deceased Estate - Terrible Service

Losing a loved one is bad enough, but having an executor that only responds only when questioned and doesn't provide status updates as things happen is unacceptable. My late mom had a property in her estate which we have been trying to sell and Nedbank made this process very difficult. After having the property on the market for months with no interest, I contacted a local agent I had dealt with before for some assistance. When she tried to list the property she was presented a mandate that entitled Syfrets (a division of Nedbank) to 40% of the agent's commission without having to do any work. It suddenly made sense why agents were not interested in selling my mom's property. When I confronted them on the phone and asked why I wasn't told about his, the answer I got was "You didn't ask". Secondly, the transfer went through on Friday last week and the agents let me know via whatsapp but to date I still haven't been notified by Nedbank that transfer is through. Quite frankly, I could have done the work of the executor far more efficiently and Nedbank do not deserve the 3.5% of the estate. This is the most painful experience I have ever gone through and Nedbank just made it exponentially worse! Even the agents and their attorneys are disgusted with the manner in which Nedbank conducted themselves - disgraceful.
