Deceased Account: DR Jali

I must say, I really detest this green bank.

My father, Dennis Raymond Jali held an account with this institution. Please be advised that he is now deceased.

As result we requested that the transfer the funds from his account to the estate late to take place over 4 months ago now. We attached the following documents to assist in the finalization of this request:

1. His Identity Document 2. His Death Certificate 3. The details of the estate late account

I have been in contact with Nedbanks Clients Service Manager, Mr Jonathan Ndlovu pertaining this matter and what ordinarily is such a simple banking transaction (that has been performed already by other banking institutions my father also held accounts in) has still not been done over 4 months in. It begs the question why?

The reason provided is that the Deceased Estates department was closed during covid. Ultimately our complaint has been noted under case reference number ***5. To date we have received no call, all follow-ups are meet with apologies for regrettable delay by said manager.

To add insult to injury yesterday we received a letter in respect to bank charges for the same account we reported. This is the absolute worst bank to deal with in respect of death claims.
