Debit order scheduled for an incorrect date and amount not agreed

I have a debit order that is scheduled on a day before the contracted date, which is my pay day. The debit order amount is double the amount that should be debited. I have continuously requested payment assistance with regards to my personal loan as my financial situation has been impacted drastically as I was the only breadwinner for my family. But yet an amount is debited on the 16th of August 2023 that will have a further negative impact on my finances. I have not had any returned debits since the loan has started. How is this now possible. How can I request assistance to repayment plan that will not impact my financial state further.
