Debit order *****

To whom it may concern

I recently noticed an unauthorised R99 debit order on my account and queried it. Thankfully It was reversed immediately. The debit order was facilatated by Sage Pay on behalf of some other company called Direct Loans of which I have absolutely no dealings with. I then tried to track and trace this company without success. (I also do not entertain any telemarketing people that phone me. I do not share any information whatsoever). I then tried to contact Nedbank again to report this ***** but to no avail, I was transferred from one person to the next. The ***** department apparently only deals with card ***** and not debit *****, I held on for the lady who put me on hold until the call was dropped 15min later. So I have gotten nowhere.... How do I report this ? This is of great concern ! How does some unknown company via some other company debit my account without my consent !! ??? This is a gaping hole in security !! Very disappointed that a bank could just allow a debit order ?? There must be some verification process surely ??? Very very disppointing that in 2017 a simple debit order has no restrictions and proper security. I'm hoping some senior at Nedbank reads this and responds.

Reviewer Update

Thank you for your reply, I have spoken to a Nedbank representative from the Complaints department who has all the above requested details.
Unfortunately, the point I'm trying to make has not gotten across or the gentleman who called me was simply a case agent who can not make any changes to how Nedbank deals with debt orders.
The only info I got was that there is a system being developed which will be more secure and will be deployed at an unknown time.

I'm going to put this layman's terms.....
So...you have a main door to your company (Nedbank) , the door(debit orders) is broken and anybody can enter through(unsolicited). So will you wait for an automated system to be built or put in place so that eventually the door could be closed at some future date ? NO ! A broken door is a massive security risk and should be dealt with immediate....even if there's a physical security guard at the door.
The point I'm making is that Nedbank should take this risk more seriously and implement an immediate temp solution !! Whether it's a manual process or not. We cannot simply leave this risk and wait for full on solution ?? That does not make sense at all.
