****************!

I am flabbergasted by Nedbank Personal Loans treatment. I took a Personal Loan of R164 049.24 in October 2018 and my instalment was R3800, discounted rate as I was a staff member. I paid that amount from October 2018 to July 2019, then I resigned from Nedbank due to health issues, I got another job that offered a job which paid me R7 000 lesser than what I earned at Nedbank. My loan then went up to R5 162.38 and such was never communicated to me until I received calls that I was in arrears in 2021 January. I made arrangements to catch up with my arrears by March 2021.

Then I was offered a payment holiday from April to June 2020. In July 2020 I got retrenched due to Covid-19. I stayed at home until January 2021 where I got a temporary job which offered me a gross salary of R12 000, with a nett salary of R8300. This now means I cannot afford this loan at all as I have a family to take care of also.

Then I reviewed my loan on the Nedbank app only to find out that Nedbank has extended my Loan back to 60 months, and their explanation was it's due to the payment holiday. Tell me how do I get a 3-months holiday, but the loan gets literally set back like I have not paid a single cent??? As it is, I cannot afford this loan due to the obvious reasons with what's happening in the world, caused by Covid-19. I am looking for a better job daily with no luck, and this loan will ruin my name even further on ITC which will also lower my chances of getting a job.

I need a full breakdown of all the payments I've made and see how is it that the loan shows that I've only paid R12 520.81 in over 22 MONTHS!!!

How possible is it that I took a loan of R164 049.24 in October 2018, but in August 2021 the balance is sitting at R151 528.43? The retrenchment insurance has been paying until end of July. I have no arrears prior that, so how does Nedbank explain this exploitation towards me. Where is all the money I've been for 2 and a half years?
