Customer service??

I walked into the Gardens Nedbank branch this morning. There were about 4 or 5 ladies sitting, standing and walking around behind the customer service counters. None of them took note of the arrival of myself and another customer. I was standing in line where there was no line, a meter away from the counter. No 'good morning', no 'I will be with you in a minute' just simple ignorance. You stand there and actually feel like an idiot. Eventually a lady takes her seat and invites me to come to her counter, this is after I have been standing there for 5 to 10 minutes for no obvious reason. I address my issue to the lady. My statements are still being sent to my old address although I informed Nedbank about my new address about a year ago. She checks on the system and tells me everything is fine and my statements are not being sent to my old address but to the new one plus I actually get my investment account statements via email. i tell her that I have never in my life received statements via email and that I definitely DO get all my statements sent to my old address, no matter what it says on the system. That's why I'm there. To sort this out. She merrily tells me that if it keeps going to the old address in the future I must come back. But I am there now, so what is she going to do next time, that she can NOT do now to sort this out?? Must I get my statements from my old address next time again??

So I swallow this and ask her another question. How to do once off payments to pre approved beneficiaries, because I only seem to be allowed to do reoccurring payments to SARS PAYE, which is not practical because I need to fill in different reference numbers each month. She bluntly tells me I must call Nedbank to find out, it would be difficult to explain while she does not have the webpage in front of her. Really?? I am at Nedbank but must call Nedbank to get information? And why does the friendly lady not take 5 minutes to open the webpage on the computer in front of her to make it easy to explain?? I walked out of that bank feeling like closing my accounts and looking for a customer friendly bank.
