Credit score inquiry

I received an alert from my credit score company telling an inquiry was done, When I login and check I see its Nedbank Consumer who did the inquiry, My Question is who gave Nedbank the right to go and do inquiry without my consent, And how did nedbank get my details to do the inquiry because I dont remember going to Nedbank to apply for anything, Can someone get back to me as a matter of urgency, Im so so angry right now, Stop Messing my credit score 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
