Credit record

<p>Nedbank has really *****ed up my credit record. I cant even buy a car or a house, i cant even get a credit card or a loan.</p> <p>In 2000 i took a personal loan with Peoples Bank of R5500.00. They did manual debit orders for the monthly payments. Not sure when Nedbank bought over peoples Bank, or what happend, Peoples bank stopped debiting my account and just disappeared. 13 years later in 2013 i opened a bank account with nedbank, then they debited my account with R+-500.00, telling me i owe them. I was confused at the time, and i was aruguing with them, then they told me about the Peoples bank loan. I disputed it with them , telling them , they cant come 13 years later and threaten me, by then they threatned me, telling me if i dont make an arrangement, they will garnish my salary, and all the scary tactics that they used. I said i would pay them R100.00 a month, and i told them i am not happy. They told me I owe +-R16000.00</p> <p>Now this reflects negative on my credit record. I went to apply for a credit card today, and i was shown my credit report, showing a negative of +-R12000.00 (Which is I suppose the balance of what they say), so unfortunately it was declined. </p> <p>So that means, i wont be able to apply for anything for the next 10 years??????</p> <p>After al lthese YEARS...This is not fair. ITS NOT RIGHT. WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO APPEAR AS IF IM NOT EVEN PAYING IT, AND YET I AM...</p> <p>They never bothered calling me for the 13 years, to notify me, or anything. Made no contact with me whatsoeva.</p> <p> </p> <p>SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE. WHO CAN I SPEAK TO.....THERE MUST BE SOMEONE OUT THERE WHO CAN HELP ME. THIS IS NOT FAIR....</p>
