Credit Life Policy Failure

The credit life policy that I paid religiously with my personal loan instalments, failed to speak for me when I became ill and could not speak for myself. Now I am a pensioner due to ill-health, and find that I am handed over and continuing to repay a loan that should have been covered by my credit life policy. So what was I paying for in the first place ? Attempts to rectify with Nedbank failed.
