Credit card account

On Tuesday 22 Aug 2018 I received a message which stated that I am in arrears with my credit card account The message also stated to ignore when your account is paid. Have done so because my account was paid on the 26 July 2018. An amount of R500 was paid. The very next day on 23 Aug I received my statement via email which also stated that I am in arrears.

I therefore called the credit card dept on the number ( ********** ) that was available on my sms. I spoke the a lady with the name of Kayla who asked me to provide her with a proof of payment. I have done so immediately. She assured me that my account will be rectified. Though on Thursday night 23 Aug a gentleman with the name of Shafik called me to inform me that my account is in arrears. According to him my last payment was on the 4 July and not 26 July, though I have also paid an amount of R500 on the 4 July.

I have explained the situation to him and asked him please to look into the matter and come back to me..His answer was that is not his duty to get back to me but Kayla s duty.

The very next day I have tried several times to get hold of Kayla and promises were made that she will get back to me as a matter of urguency. No feedback yet.

My frustration is that this is absolutely their fault and no effort to help me. It also may affect my credit record as it is not the fist time I have the same experience with Nedbank staff.

Can you please assist me
