Covid assistance for SMMEs

I am highly disappointed with the service we as a small business have received from nedbank during a very difficult time of covid 19 where we need them the most

I had recently communication from nedbank regarding assists for small businesses from government in partnership with the banks, with government serving as security for our loans that we really need

I was really happy about this intervention as our business is one of those that are badly affected, we app**** and submitted all the lengthy paperwork they had asked for to my surprise I had to keep on following up with our banker as there was no communication coming from her after sending her several messages she eventually responded by saying our application has been declined because of my credit score and I am only the person who is running the business account and not the director

I then asked her why are they not using director details because directors were updated last year, I never got a response from her, tried calling her several times with no luck she never answers her phone I then went to the extent of sending her again an email asking her to call me as I can’t get hold of her she promised to call me back but a week later nothing

Nedbank we have been banking with you for so long why do you forsake us in a time when we are really in need of assistance even worse you don’t communicate with your clients and I can even tell you are not interested in assisting us with this government intervention loan because if you did you would have gone an extra mile to help the smmes that are badly affected especially since we have been loyal to your bank for so long

Am highly disappointed
