Consistent Bad Service
I app**** for a credit card on 30 December 2019, I submitted every single document requested. There has been a communication blackout on the part of Nedbank. Had I not called in, I would not have known to present myself at a branch for FICA verification. The service in the branch was appalling, I had to be quite rude to be served after waiting patiently for over 40 min for my ticket to be called.
I reached out to Nedbank via Twitter, no acknowledgement of the ********** customer experience I have been subjected to.
Even more of a communication blackout than ever before. I have been calling and using the app chat function daily and nothing is being done to resolve the delivery of my credit card.
Everyday, every single agent I interact with gives me conflicting information.
Now I am being told I need to sign an indemnity, not once since initiating this process was this ever communicated to me.
Dear, Frieda Buthelezi Thank you for contacting Nedbank with your query. A case has been logged with the following reference number:***8
The only agent to have made any meaningful contribution was the one who generated the ticket above, after that nothing has happened.
I have been calling every day and I keep being shunted from pillar to post.
The consistent bad service ripples through every engagement platform, from online, call centre, branch and social media.
I would like my card delivered today, before close of business.
Your operational timelines have failed. You said 7 business days from the day the card is ordered, it will be delivered to me at the address I captured on the application. It's long past your own operational timeline.
I will be contacting Chris Wood, or whomever runs Credit Card at Nedbank now and enquiry if it is your organization's strategy to frustrate customers this way?
I hope this email will get the attention it deserves.
I initiated a credit card application with Nedbank in December and have had to follow up everyday because there is no communication coming from Nedbank.
I have reached out to Nedbank on social media platforms and equally there is a communication blackout.
Either than Tashnee, whose manager is copied in the mail, the customer experience from your division has been appalling.
I have actively pursued this card application but I see now that I will not be receiving it in time to accomplish what I needed it for.
I have tagged you on Twitter so you can see my Hello Peter report. I have no confidence however that you will or won't.
I have also reached out to you on LinkedIn so I can tag you on that platform too.
This experience has been ********** and I don't believe that as a brand you actually care about your clients.
If this falls on deaf ears, at least contact *** and reward the only agent who actually cares about your customers in Nedbank.
P.S. I will post this on social media platforms because employees like Tashnee need to be recognised, especially in organisations that fail their customers by giving #ConsistentBadService.
Regards
