Confused

Hi, I have app**** for a credit card online and has been approved provisionally, they also asked me to email then 3 payslips and an copy of my ID while they do the verification tests. I saw they did an enquiry on Transunion. Today i got a sms everything was good and then a call centre agent called me and and ask me if i ever was under debt revier, thats what confuses me, yes i was under debt review, but i have been cleared, surely when they checked my credit profile they must have seen i am no longer under debt review and are building my credit profile, hence the reason i app**** for the credit card, got one from capitec with no hassel, have a positive balance by the way because i dont have any debt. The guy a spoke to told me he is going to send me an sms to which i must send a letter that i am no longer under debt review. What was the credit check on Transunion for?
