Complete disregard for client satisfaction,
Honestly I'm really disappointed in Nedbank.
Beginning of this month I registered a private company with CIPC and so chose Nedbank to provide a business account as I have been banking personally with Nedbank the last two years. I app**** online for a "Pay as you Use" account with a fee of R70.00 per month, my application online went well, I can only assume because I already had an account and they had my FICA details.
The problem came in when the other director had to complete he's side of the application, starting with the link he was sent. Apon trying the link eventually redirected him to download the app, which eventually end at the request a call back page. After some time, we were contacted by Nomfundo who advised that we should email through to her the other Directors I.D and proof of address as to FICA him. She confirmed telephonically that the FICA was succesful. She then further contacted him telephonically and told him that due to the fact that he owed ABSA Money for a loan, we would both have to go into a Nedbank branch to complete the registration.
Apon arrival at Nedbank Eastgate on a Saturday, the gentleman at the entrance advised that we need to speak to a business banker and after having a look he confirmed that there was one business banker available however we just had to wait as she was currently busy with a client, after patiently waiting, she told us that she cannot help us as she had an appointment a 11:00 am. No one had informed us that we had to speak to a business banker nor that we would have to book an appointment.
last week Friday I called Nedbank Small Business Sales and spoke to a lady that promised me she would speak to Nomfundo and advise me on the situation and advise me on the steps forward.
To date I have not heard from Nedbank neither Telephonically nor via email. I will not be waiting any longer and will proceed to open a business account with another bank. I will also be moving my salary from my personal account to another bank as in all honestly Nedbank has never even attempted to give me advise when my credit score was on 0 due to no account history and I managed to do that on my own.
