Complaint Against Nedbank Standerton
I am writing this email as a complainant against Nedbank Standerton branch
On 13 July 2021, I arrived by Nedbank Standerton Branch to report that my husband Noah Ephraim Mosalo is late and requesting the closure of the his bank account. I was assisted by Ms. Mbali Gwebu (a teller ) and she stated that one of the outstanding documents was the Letter of Executership.
We returned on 24 June 2022 after receipt of the Letter of Executorship and we were assisted by another consultant(no name given), also a teller she processes all the dociments and informed us that funds would be paid by end of the week and also requested my contact details and promised to provide mw with feedback. Due to no feedback I decided to revisit the branch.
On the 13th of July 2022, I returned to the branch we were assisted by Ms. Faith Mhlongo I was really appauled by her behaviour. Instead of accepting responsibility and apologising she kept on deflecting placing the blame on the other consultants or tellers. In the end she stated that within 48 hours the funds would be in my account.
48 Hours later I returned to the branch on 19 July 2022 and spoke to Ms Mhlongo again this time more excuses this time "the manager failed to this and that", I think this branch requires training in customer care and product knowledge. When we requested to see the Manager he was not present. When does he work ? I was advised to wait for another 48 hours. I recently received information that the funds are no longer R2 000 but now R1980.97 less than the initial amount.
I am deeply unhappy and disappointed with the level of service of Nedbank.
I am disgusted by the incompetence and the ********* nature of their staff.
