Complacency amidst *****

Good day

On 10 December 2015 at 16:00 I received a message on my phone about a transaction that was made on my account.

I immediately called the contact centre and spoke Amelia, who looked at my account and indicated that no such transactions was on my account.

I explained to her that I had never been to the vendor involved and was not even in the near vicinity of the vendor.

I requested what her latest info was on the system and she indicated a transaction that was not even the latest that I had on my phone. I had to verify that her results were grossly out of date. She then indicated that I must wait and check tomorrow again.

Whilst I am aware of the delay in transactions reflecting on the system, I am also aware that there is a system that would have it reflected in real time and if my card was compromised, why must I wait. So that more money can be ******? I had to demand to get put through to someone that could rectify this and eventually was put through to authorisations who verified a transaction had occurred and put me through to the ***** division.

What kind of training are staff given to deal with matters so inefficiently and poorly.
