Collection of credit card refused

On 24 July 2017 I lost my wallet containing cash, bank cards, ID and driver's licence. After stopping the cards and requesting replacements, I was informed by text message on 26July that my credit card was ready for collection. However, on 27 Julythe teller refused to hand over the credit card when I could not produce my ID - in spite of presenting the affidavit and OB number from the police station, as well as a certified copy of my (lost) ID dated 10 June 2017.

One week later, on 2 August,I visited the branch again and asked to see the manager about the matter. I was not allowed to see the manager but was referred to a consultant who also refused to hand over the credit card or even read the affidavit but persisted in asking for my green ID book or card. I obviously did not have either of these, How must I collect the credit card while waiting for a new ID? Obviously I am also now unable to use my credit facility. I am very disappointed about not being allowed to speak to the manager and therefore am going to close the account. I think it is unreasonable to expect me to present an ID in spite ofspecifically stating that I have lost it.
