Closed my account without my consent

I’ve had a good relationship with nedbank for sometime,my accounts were well maintained and I even had multiple investment accounts with them.

Just 3 months of financial difficulties were I wasn’t able to consistently pay my homeloan and personal loan in time(resulting in arrears) Nkosinathi mpungose made a drastic decision without any notification to me that he was going to close off my cheque account which automatically affected my personal profile and I can no longer access my credit cards.

Is he/she allowed to just close a client’s account without letting them know??? He/she mentioned in an email where she was rejecting my payment arrangement that I should pay my arrears directly to the loan account, little did I know that she suggested that because she closed my account.

I got a shock of my life today when I logged into my app and my account was nowhere!!!! I feel like I’ve been done wrong, I wanted to pay my accounts today but couldn’t because I couldn’t transfer money into my cheque account. Everyone in this life go through a financial difficulty at some point even this nkosinathi knows that but she acts like she has all the money in the world, meanwhile she may be in arrears herself taking out her frustrations on my accounts. Seriously how am I gonna get my cheque account back? I need to pay my other accounts as well as my credit cards. To say that this has killed my buzz is an understatement 🚮🙄. My so called banker Zimasa is very unhelpful, can someone who can actually help here assist??

You make us sign when opening and closing accounts so who signed for closure of my cheque account??

A couple of months ago I could foresee my financial difficulties and reached out to Zimasa asking if I could downgrade my account option,she made it impossible and I continued to maintain my account anyway because I needed to,but now why and how was it so easy for nkosinzthi to just close it off??
