closed all accounts and 6 months later owe R600 odd in bank charges

<p>closed all accounts and 6 months later owe R600 odd in bank charges.</p> <p> </p> <p>About 6 months ago i closed all my accounts with Nedbank and moved to another bank, i handed in my cards which they cut up. About a week ago i get an sms from Nedbank saying my credit card is in arrears please make a payment.</p> <p>I didnt do anything because i know i dont have an account with them anymore, yesterday i recieve another sms, that i must pay R100 to avoid legal action......</p> <p>I then go to a nedbank branch today to find out what is going on and i find out that my credit card is still open and i now owe them over 600 rand in service fees??? i dont even have a card...</p> <p>how can i pay 600 rand for a service you never provided?</p>
