Client-centric? See money differently?
If Nedbank provides such poor service to possible new clients, I pity their existing clients.
After Nedbank continued to phone me on a weekly basis to take a credit card with them, I finally app**** on 7 Jan 2019. Only 2 weeks later (on 21 Jan) I received a phone call and a credit pre-agreement statement with a ridiculously high interest rate that avg approximately 6% higher than its competitors. I waited 2 weeks for them to contact me, but I was expected to return the signed agreement within 24 hours.
On 22 Jan I advised that I am not prepared to agree to the "preferrential" interest rate that they offer. On 30 Jan I received a statement that I owe Nedbank R235.56 for a card that I did not accept, nor an account that I agreed to. On 01 Feb I received a phone call from Kabelo asking if I managed to sign the agreement and send it back to Nedbank. I told him that I did inform Nedbank I am not prepared to accept their ridiculous rates and the only feedback he had for me is if he has my permission to close the account.
My experience from Nedbank is that they are completely and utterly amiss in their "client-centric" approach. They did deliver on their tagline though - to "see money differently". I truly see that my money would perform vastly differently better at another financial institution apart from Nedbank.
