Change of debit order date

<p>Every month before my salary gets paid into my account my personal loan gets debited. I phoned today asking to change the debit order date for September to 2 Oct but I have been told by a call centre agent that this cannot be done because it would then mean that my debit order for October will then be deducted on 2 October which means I will basically pay 2 debit orders in 1 month.In this case I will be forced to change banks just so that my money will not be taken before the actual debit order should go off. Just don't understand why I cannot just change the debit order without having issues.</p>
