On Friday I’ve received a text from my friend asking for a money and she sent me a number a to make a payment and I did sent her an amount of R4500. Whilst she was hacked I did know went to Nedbank Mthatha CBD and the consultant said there’s nothing they can do it’s my reckless and carelessness. I even went to open a case at Madeira Police but still refused to help me. I felt like Nedbank failed me for not confirmation or relieving the surname of the person that I’ve sent a money to. I didn’t know that my friend was hacked. Here is the number *** that I sent the money to. My details are Monicca Majamana, email address *** and cellphone number ***.And its Nedbank’s faulty to have an option to send money using a number without confirming clients details. And as from now I feel like my money is not safe anymore. And they’ve failed me. I don’t want to use Nedbank anymore. Here is my case no 252/6/2025.
