Card not active

I opened a savings account for my daughter with Nedbank at the Cresta branch, with the intention of my daughter using the card and account overseas while she is away on scholarship. Firstly it took two weeks for her account to be activated, and I received the card from the locker... The same day when I received the card the Cresta branch closed down for renovation. The card could not be coded making it inactive. I went to the South Gate branch to have the card coded..

The card still did not show on my banking app which means that I could not adjust any limits on the card. My daughter traveled and I called Nedbank about the matter the only helpful person who looked into the matter finally concluded that there was a block on the card.

This means that my daughter could not use the card on her travel and I have to make alternative arrangements for her to have money.

I am disappointed in Nedbank. I will be moving the account.
