Card Delivery
I have a current account with Nedbank. My debit card is expiring at the end of the month. They have issued the card and sent it to my branch in Lenasia. I work and its currently very difficult for me to get to the bank, and when ever you go to the bank there's queue that goes on forever. So I called the call center and ask them if I could get my card delivered however they want to charge me R350.00 delivery fee , which I find to be ridiculous. Considering the current situation of the Covid 19 pandemic Nedbank should be trying to limit the amount of people that actually need to come into the bank. I don't have query. I just need my card.
I find that delivery fee is ridiculous. I have a card with FNB and it got delivered to me free of charge before I even knew my card was expiring. I must commend them on their service. Nedbank should learn something from them. Its extremely pathetic to think Nedbank is not even willing to make a concession during these difficult times. On a normal day I would got the bank to collect my card no questions asked, but these are not normal times. I am really not happy with the service. I have been a loyal client even though everyone says FNB is the way to go. I think should heed the advise. I wouldn't have to post about card delivery on Hello Peter.
