Can't look up my policy from my ID number :(

I have a pipe that has burst and is flooding my house. I call and someone asks for my ID number so they can direct me to the correct department. The person in the correct department says that he cannot look up my policy by my ID number. What do I do now? What poor service, you would never get such at FNB!
