Can't close an account

Hi, I have requested to close my cheque account multiple times but all times with fail, I kept being told that there was an error on the system. Had to make a payment to remove the minus on my account of which I did and again I tried closing the account but still nothing, now I'm on a minus once again and I keep getting calls to make another deposit, I don't know whether you guys think I have some money laying around that I will keep depositing in your this account that I no longer have use for cause I don't work anymore and can't afford it. I can't make a payment for this minus again.

I opened a savings account and was told I can't open, then close another account on the same day... came back 3 days in a row and still have an "error", I spoke to guy by the name Sanele and he showed me something on his computer supposedly the error he is getting, it's been more than a month trying to close this account.
