Cancelling homeowners insurance nightmare

I have cancelled my homeowners insurance with Nedbank Insure, and have notified the home loans department to remove the premium on my bond account at the end of February, as I have taken out new insurance with Hollard, effective 1 March 2019.

This has been a frustrating journey with emails up and down as I have tried to get them to understand what I am looking form, receiving replies in language that doesn't makes sense, and I was even sent what seems to be internal workflow log where my query was referred to another department. Is a simple thing, but as yet the best I have received confirmation that my premium will be cancelled when the policy is cancelled, and that will "probably" happen on the 28th February, which is the last day of the month. That's TOO LATE. The level of customer service is pathetic, to put it mildly.

I even looked in LinkedIn to see who at Nedbank I could appeal to, in order to assist me and connected with Andre Jacobs who is an operations manager, and messaged him on LinkedIn asking who I could contact to help me. I'm still waiting for his reply.

There must be someone at Nedbank that can assist me with this very simple issue....
