Cancelling Home Loan Cession

I had a personal life insurance policy linked to a BOE home loand (Part of Nedbank), after this was put down as a requirement by the bank.

We have however paid up the loan in 2005, and have assumed that the bank would have rleased the cession against ythe policy, just to find out two years (2015) ago that the cession is still in place.

I have now been given the absolutely cold shoulder trying to release the cession, with the bank just not following up or getting back to me at all.

Not sure who else to escalated this to as I have already taken it up with the bank ombudsman as well.
