Cancelled insurance

We restructured our bond at the beginning of this year and were told our insurance premiums were included in our monthly payment. A few weeks ago we discovered that our geyser was leaking. I called the insurance and was told my policy was cancelled and they don't know why but would investigate and call me the next morning. By midday the next day I still got no call, I called them and was told to call homeloans. When I called homeloans I was informed that they cannot assist and I must go to the branch where I signed the papers (remember this entire time water is leaking from my geyser). That afternoon I went to the branch and was informed that they will get the original documents and will contact me +- in 1 weeks time. I went home, arranged a friend who is a plumber to come assist, bought a new geyser and installed it. In the process slipping and tramping a hole in the ceiling. A few days later I got an email from Nedbank ins saying my policy was reinstated, no reasons for wy it was cancelled, no apology nothing. I called them and was told to send the invoice for the geyser and the plumber, I told them I paid the guy cash and was informed that in that case they cannot reimburse me.... also that the ceiling was my fault and I must sort it out myself. When I then called a few days later I was informed that some other lady was working on my policy and they have no idea why she has not contacted me yet....at that very moment I got an email from her (suspicious????) Now it's almost a week later and I am still waiting for my claim to be paid out. No apology or assistance form them....I'd like to add that I worked for Nedbank for just under 10 years and never once in my time there was I involved in or heard of service like this. To say I am extremely disappointed wold be an understatement

Well I'm waiting again, is anyone planning on getting back to me anytime soon, because I am sick and tired of all the inconvenience this has caused me. As well as the poor client service I'm experiencing from Nedbank insurance. Or is it my responsibility as the client to make all the phone calls and run the entire investigation as well?
