Branch closed - No mention from bank!

I received an SMS to say .... Reminder to collect your Greenbacks SHOP Card from Nedbank Bedfordview Branch. Kindly bring your ID or driving licence to collect your card.... this was on the 3rd November. I went online to see what time they were closing today. I left work early to get there in time only to discover that the bank is closed for renovations starting 27th October until the 7th December. I asked the security there why it did not warn me online that that branch was closed? The reply was ... "oh they forgot to do that". I asked where will I get my card now? "You can go to Eastgate" I was told. I asked how do I know the card will be there? They checked against my ID on their laptop and told me " oh that card is not delivered yet." I said... then why did I get an Sms to say it was at the Bedfordview branch when they were already under construction? What a waste of my time.... this is very slack of the bank not to have informed me... either way - sms or online.
