Brainless agents giving wrong advice to clients
I was struggling with MFC for a few months as they could not run my debit order on the agreed date so I decided to cancel the debit order and pay cash. The agreed date was the last day of the month. So as always, on the last day of the month, I went to make a cash payment at the Balfour Park branch. This morning I get a nasty sms from MFC that my acc is in arrears and that I should make a payment. So I call MFC, spoke to Johanna. She tells me, with confidence that there is nothing that can be done. If I want to avoid receiving such sms', she suggests that I make my payment on the 1st or 2nd of the month. Really???? This person must be braindead or lacks any form of common sense completely. So I must not pay on the agreed date? Ruin my credit profile by paying late? What kind of advice from a bank representative is this? Johanna needs to be removed from her job with immediate effect and go elsewhere where she will not be required to use her brain. It is evident that MFC still uses dinosaur systems, I suggest you wait atleast 48hrs before sending stupid messages to clients. I want MFC to send me a letter confirming that my acc is up to date. While you are at it, send me a settlement letter please because I don't think I can wait for August to pay off this account.
