Bond Account Settlement Nightmare

A couple of months ago I sold my property and the bond cancellation happened last month. After settlement, the remaining funds were transferred into my account. But I was debited for the bond immediately after the funds were transferred into my account, which wasn't supposed to happen.

I notified my private banker about this and she told me that the funds will be credited back to my account shortly, which never happened. Now I'm struggling to get a response from her or anyone from the bank regarding the matter. This is the third week!

I've also tried calling Nedbank but I just get moved from one department to the next for about 15/20 minutes only to be told that they need to send an email to the right department to initiate the refund because the bond account has already been closed and the collections department can't do anything about it and this will be done in the next 10 minutes and I should be included in the email trail, which never happened. If anyone from Nedbank is reading this:

- Why do you run debit orders on bond accounts that have already been settled and in the process of being closed, after taking all of your interest and other fees?

- Why do I need to resort to Hellopeter to get a response when I pay for private banking every single month?

- When will my money be refunded?

Please get this sorted out, I need my money back!!!

Three weeks is more than enough to process a refund, come on guys.
