Blocks on Home Loan not removed from debt review

I've exited debt review on 2 April 2015 and the clearance certificate was sent to all creditors. The amended credit act proclaimed on 13 March 2015 clearly states that 7 days is allowed (not business days) for the removal of all flags of debt review. This should have been done by 9 April 2015.

I app**** for a further loan on my home loan and was told it is declined due to me being on debt review. What a shock to find out that Nedbank Debt Review and Home Loans has over 7 holds on my account! I visited the Alberton branch after taking off from work on Tuesday, 21 April 2015 and Pearl told us to email her the following day as she spoke to them telephonically just before 4pm. The Home loans and debt review departments stated to her on the phone that they do not think that a clearance certificate will suffice to get the holds removed (this is the requirement by the NCA to remove any debt review flags)

Wednesday I emailed Pearl and another time and still nothing. Its now a week later and .... nothing. This is unacceptable as Nedbank is in contravention of the amended credit act and needs to remove these blocks immediately and compensate for my humiliation and distress cause
