Blocking money YOU DO NOT OWN

3 times in 2 months my daughter's card was blocked "pending activation" - twice i sorted over the phone. Then i was told i need to go to the branch. I did so this morning 26/04/2025. We can't find her original birth certificate and still needs to do her official ID as she turned 18 in February. It could not be done with the copy. i asked the branch, Woodmead, to move her money BACK to my account WHERE it CAME FROM!!! and was told can't be done. i wonder, do banks AND THE GOVERNMENT realise THAT YOU DO NOT OWN OUR MONEY???? YOU ARE AWARE OF THAT RIGHT? unless, unknowingly we are now a communist country? SO, NEDBANK, there is R350 in her account, seems you need it so you KEEP IT - will find another bank.
